Prepare card photos and scans
Use phone photos or scanned card images in MyCardFlow. Keep the entire card visible, use even lighting, and choose the photo mode before adding images.
- Choose Sports, TCG, Non-Sports, or Auto Identify in New Listing.
- Choose Fronts only or Fronts and backs. For paired uploads, place each front immediately before its matching back.
- Use Take card photo or Choose from library on your phone, or add image files from your computer.
- Check orientation, sharpness, and glare. Make sure small card numbers and printed set details are readable.
- Identify the cards, then review each result against its photo before creating a listing.
Do I need a dedicated scanner?
No. You can start with phone photos. If you already scan cards, upload the resulting card images from your computer. Keep a consistent orientation and check the selected fronts-only or paired-photo mode.
When should I include the back?
Include the back when it contains useful card numbers, set details, or identifying text. In paired mode, keep each front and back together so the correct images stay with each card.
What if the image is blurry or has glare?
Retake it before identification. Use even light, avoid a direct reflection from the lamp, and keep the camera steady. Include the full edges of the card and inspect small text before uploading.
What if my image will not upload?
Check that you selected a card type and chose an image file that your browser can open. If an image format fails, export a JPEG or PNG copy and try again. Read any on-screen error before retrying.
