Card types and identification limits
MyCardFlow has Sports, TCG, Non-Sports, and Auto Identify options. Choose the appropriate card type before adding photos, then review the returned details before publishing.
Which card type should I choose?
Choose Sports for athletes and teams. Choose TCG for games such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and One Piece. Choose Non-Sports for entertainment cards such as Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, and WWE. Auto Identify lets the identification system choose the type.
Does a card-type option guarantee every card will be identified?
No. A supported category is not a guarantee of complete coverage or a correct match for every set, language, insert, or parallel. Check the name, set, card number, and variation against the physical card. Add set details when you know them.
Can identification replace checking condition?
Review condition yourself before listing. Card identification is not a professional grading service. Check the physical card and make sure the description and photographs accurately represent it.
What should I check on a parallel or similar-looking variant?
Compare the printed card number, foil or finish, serial numbering, and any distinguishing marks. Correct or clear an incorrect parallel or insert before publishing. A clear back photo can provide details that are missing from the front.
