Base & Insert Listings
Create separate eBay listings for sports base cards and inserts using checklist matching. During beta, this workflow is available to paid subscribers and uses no scan credits.
- Open New Listing and choose Base & Insert Listings. Use Standard eBay Listing for Pokémon and other TCG cards, serial-numbered cards, or cards whose exact version is uncertain.
- Add a front and back photo for each card, then confirm the pairs. Both sides are required. Use clear images with readable card numbers and set details.
- With Identify cards automatically enabled, the app reads the confirmed photos and looks for checklist matches. Review the suggested player, year, set, card number, insert, and version against your physical card.
- If a match is missing or wrong, search for the correct checklist entry or enter the details manually. You can instead use Standard eBay Listing for identification with scan credits; switching workflows does not automatically transfer these photos.
- Review each card’s title, condition, price, shipping, and store category. Connect eBay and check your seller policies in Settings before publishing. Use Check all drafts to find missing details, then List on eBay when ready.
Which cards should I use here?
Use sports base cards and inserts with a confident checklist match. Front and back photos are required. TCG and serial-numbered cards are excluded from this workflow; use Standard eBay Listing for those cards.
Does free scanning mean the match is guaranteed?
No. Checklist coverage varies, and every result needs review. Correct missing or incorrect details before publishing. Free scans during beta do not remove the requirement for a paid subscription.
Where are my drafts saved?
This workspace keeps drafts and photos in this browser. Avoid clearing browser storage while work is unfinished. Published listings also save to My Listings. Nothing publishes until you choose List on eBay.
